The USAID/Energy Policy Program realized in 2014 training of operation and maintenance staff of Pakistan's state electricity company WAPDA in Best Practices in Hydro Operations and Maintenance.

The provision of complete training services was awarded through International tender to Energoconsult Praha s.r.o. From October to December 2014 more than 60 WAPDA executives were trained in best practices of operation and maintenance of hydel plants by leading experts of ČKD Blansko Engineering, SWECO, Logio Hydroprojekt and ELPAK.
